Danny Gee is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in the New York City fashion industry, where he worked as a designer and creative director for international brands. Years of worldwide travel introduced him to diverse cultures and people, ultimately shaping his broad and unique perspective on design. 

Seeking a more fulfilling and balanced lifestyle, he relocated to Salo, Finland, with his family in 2022. Surrounded by the stunning Finnish countryside and forests, he developed a profound appreciation for nature and its resources. This deep connection is evident in his reverence for the origins of wood and his desire to create enduring, beautiful pieces.

Gee Design was launched in 2023 with a focus on creating lasting, generational furniture that combines art with function. Sustainability and environmental responsibility remain at the core of their philosophy, which they approach through several guiding principles:
